3/15/22 - New releases from MERCENARY and PEACE DECAY OUT NOW!!

Yo, I hope y'all have been well! Here's the first offerings from the Beach Impediment Label for the year 2022. Let's do it:

MERCENARY - DEMOS COLLECTION 12"

While this is titled “Demos Collection,” it’s actually a discography–the collected works of one of the most ferocious hardcore groups to come out of the Southeast in the last decade. Mercenary’s noisy, heavy riffing blends Scandinavian and Japanese influences, and the drums blaze a frantic d-beat. It’s the vocals, though, that propel their recordings into the stratosphere. Vocalist Michael “Ruby” Rubenstein was at his most unchained in Mercenary, and his performance here has been likened to a “Neanderthal’s battle cry.” While modern science has concluded that Neanderthals were complex primates capable of art and symbolic thought, they were probably terrifying to face in a struggle for survival. While they had some enticing opportunities, the band never committed anything to vinyl save a comp track. They broke up in 2015, leaving behind two tapes and achieving legendary status for their pummeling live performances in Atlanta.

In 2021, Ruby passed away unexpectedly, a devastating loss for friends, punks, and music dorks around the world. This album is not only a brutal slab of tuneage, it’s also an important artifact representing Ruby’s life and his love of music. The tracks on this LP have been remixed and remastered to better capture the band’s intensity, and the album comes with a foldout insert and a photo of Ruby in action along with stark cover art by Joe Della. If Mercenary flew under your radar the first time, you missed out. Snag this once and future bonzer now. Proceeds from the sales of this record will go to a mural in memory of Ruby as well as the Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition. Limited to a one time pressing of 500 copies.

100 copies on SEA GLASS VINYL for mailorder while they last!

PEACE DECAY - DEATH IS ONLY... 12"

Here we have it, the debut release from the Austin, TX hardcore punk powerhouse known as PEACE DECAY. "Death is Only..." features six tracks of the blazing and pummeling hardcore ferocity you'd expect from a group consisting of current and former members of VAASKA, SEVERED HEAD OF STATE, GUERRA FINAL and many more acts the great nation of Texas has bequeathed to us, the hardcore faithful, over the past few decades or so. Mastered by Jack Control at Enormous Door, each record comes in a full color matte jacket adorned with cover art by vocalist Enok Vazquez and also features a stunning 11" x 17" collage by Barcelona visual artist and analog collagist JFKollages. Much like death, this initial offering from PEACE DECAY is only the beginning.

100 copies on OPAQUE BLUE VINYL for mailorder while they last!

It's also worth mentioning that the 3rd press of the BEEX - THE EARLY YEARS: 1979-1982 12" has finally arrived as well! 250 copies on a SMOKY VINYL, snag em while ya can! And while we still eagerly await the arrival of the 2nd press of the SOCIO LA DIFEKTA - KRESKI EP (hopefully only a couple more months at most), I came across a few straggler copies with slightly damaged covers that I've put up at a reduced rate for those who don't care about things like imperfect print material, corners dinged in transit, etc etc.

As always, you can obtain copies of these records via the Beach Impediment Records Big Cartel aka OL' FAITHFUL.

You can stream / download these records AND purchase them via the Beach Impediment Records Bandcamp.

Be on the lookout for new slabs from LONG KNIFE, GRAVEN IMAGE, PHANTASIA, RED CROSS, WHITE CROSS and many more through out the year that have yet to be announced but will be soon enough, like an absolute shit kicker of a split that I just sent off to be cut the other day. Stay tuned!!!

Record bullshit aside, please continue to stay safe and navigate this strange new world the best you can. It's pretty much two years to the week since this shit all went down and what a stretch of time it's been. It's nice seeing shreds of normalcy return and we can only hope for some permanence to that. Time will tell.

Be well, stay safe, keep rocking,
-B.I.R.

11/19/21 - GENTLEMAN JESSE - LOSE EVERYTHING LP + SOCIO LA DIFEKTA - KRESKI EP OUT NOW!!

Happy days, my friends! Here we have it - the final entries into the Beach Impediment catalog for the year 2021. A mixed bag if I do say so myself! It was an interesting year to press records, that's for sure, and I'm thrilled to see it out with these two! Proceed for more information on these titles + some other news.

GENTLEMAN JESSE - LOSE EVERYTHING LP

After ten long years away from the studio, Gentleman Jesse returns to us bearing a new ten-track album that benefits greatly from the wisdom and heartbreak that a decade of life on this planet affords. An album titled "Lose Everything" is bound to have its dark side, and behind the powerful melodies and jangly guitars a hint of sadness hangs in the air. But Jesse makes a bad time a good listen—after all, he's responsible for tunes like Carbonas' "Phone Booth" and his debut single "I Don't Wanna Know." While age tends to water down the output of older musicians, it's had the opposite effect on Jesse. Gone is any semblance of kitsch or power-pop convention. Also gone are his band—he's flying solo this time. What remains is a dazzling, mature earworm of a guitar-pop album. Each record comes in a matte jacket adorned with the photography of Riley McBride and also includes a lovingly assembled booklet featuring lyrics and original woodcut prints made by the Gentleman himself.

There are 200 copies on JADE VINYL available for mailorder while they last.

SOCIO LA DIFEKTA - KRESKI EP

Tokyo, Japan's SOCIO LA DIFEKTA have bestowed upon the international punk community a barn burner of a slab in the form of this, the "KRESKI" EP. Featuring members of regional greats like UNARM and MALIMPLIKI among others, this smashing debut contains 6 tracks of rabid yet precise hardcore punk topped off by the dual vocals of Nanae and Iŝimura catapulting their fierce howls in the Esperanto language. Recorded by Shigenori Kobayashi at Tokyo's legendary Noise Room, each record comes in a stunning DIY print sleeve along with a fold out insert chock full of the lyrics and their translations into Japanese and English; all of which was designed and laid out by bassist and renowned visual artist Ippei Matsui.

There are 100 copies on BROWN VINYL available for mailorder while they last.

You can purchase copies here.

You can stream the records in their entirety and purchase copies here.

The following titles have been repressed since we last spoke as well:

PUBLIC ACID - CONDEMNATION EP
CONDOR - SINGLES 2017-2018 12" (500 copies on WHITE VINYL)
BEEX - THE EARLY YEARS: 1979-1982 12" (250 copies on YELLOW VINYL)

We're hoping to have the 3rd press of the MUJERES PODRIDAS 12" in the coming weeks, stay tuned!

On a more personal note, as an update to those who were following the situation since I posted the GoFundMe back in March of this year, Mikey Rodriguez of WHITE CROSS, RED CROSS, MOD SUBS and many other bands over the years lost his fight with liver cancer earlier this month. I had the distinct pleasure and honor of getting to know him while working on the White Cross and Red Cross projects over the past year and a half. He was a friend and will be missed dearly. In honor of his passing his family has started the Michael Rodriguez Memorial Fund to collect charitable donations for the children he left behind. In the event you feel led to do so, donations can be sent via PayPal or Venmo to @kimrod10 or snail mail to:

Michael Rodriguez Memorial Fund
c/o Kim Rodriguez
PO BOX 221
Studley, VA 23162

Thanks again to all who donated to help with his medical bills earlier this year, I can vouch for the fact that he was truly touched by such kindness coming from so many strangers. Here's to hoping we finally get those aforementioned releases out in 2022.

Next month marks 10 years of Beach Impediment Records. Huge thanks for all the support over that decade. There's still more to come! Here's a glimpse at what's next! If all goes according to plan, those top few titles should be kicking off 2022...

MERCENARY - DEMOS COLLECTION 12"
PEACE DECAY - DEATH IS ONLY... 12"
GRAVEN IMAGE - DISCOGRAPHY 12"
LONG KNIFE - CURBSTOMP EARTH 12" (split release with Blackwater Records)
RED CROSS - NO MESSAGE: 1981-1982
WHITE CROSS - DISCOGRAPHY

+ loads more to be announced in the new year.

Take care,
-B.I.R.

8/20/21 - MUJERES PODRIDAS - MUERTE EN PARAÍSO 12" OUT NOW!!

MUJERES PODRIDAS - MUERTE EN PARAÍSO 12" OUT NOW + WARTHOG & PUBLIC ACID represses!

WOSSSSSOOOOPPPP? After maaaaaannnnnyyyyyy delays I'm elated to FINALLY have this one available to y'all! An end of summer banger if there ever was one as exhibited by the tunes and the wonderful cover art. Oh and finally got some much needed 7" represses too, wow! Let's get right to it, bud:

MUJERES PODRIDAS - MUERTE EN PARAÍSO 12"

Hailing from what could arguably be called one of the epicenters of great modern punk music, Austin's MUJERES PODRIDAS have broken their studio silence of a few years to deliver an absolute monster of a debut 12" slab. Considering the personnel in question here have served time in groups like CRIATURAS, VAASKA, KURRAKA in addition to already churning out two excellent releases in this current project, it comes as no surprise that "MUERTE EN PARAÍSO" exhibits 11 tracks of punk perfection with tight musicianship that can hold its own before being catapulted even further via the unmatched vocal delivery of Dru Molina, frantically spewing vitriolic acid in the Spanish language. Recorded at Deep Space 3 on Halloween of 2020 and mastered by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound Mastering, each record comes in a glossy jacket adorned with stunning full color art and a fold out 11"x17" insert, both of which were designed by the bands own Phil Gonzalez.

There are 100 copies on CLEAR VINYL for mailorder that can be ordered here or here.

You can listen to the record here. Also check out the music video for the track "OVNI" here.

In repress news, the WARTHOG - S/T EP is finally available once again! Got a good grip of copies on a limited translucent blue vinyl which can be copped in the webstore of your choice. It's crazy to think it's been 5 years since this behemoth of a slab came out - time flies but also crawls at a snail's pace. UK / EU folks, you can get your copies from Ellis at Static Shock who has also repressed this modern day classic!

And the PUBLIC ACID - CONDMENATION EP is once again available to the masses! The repress took a lot longer than we expected and a fair amount of copies got claimed by wholesale customers during that wait but we have a decent grip of em available! In the event we run out by the time you click this email, the always dependable Sorry State got an ass load of em so mosey on down there should ya need to...

Speaking of represses, dog willing, I am hoping to have the following titles replenished within about a month's time:

CANAL IRREAL - S/T 12"
BEEX - THE EARLY YEARS: 1979-1981 12" (yellow vinyl, /250)
CONDOR - SINGLES 2017-2018 12" (white vinyl, /500)

I don't think I'm gonna do a mail out for those but keep an eye on your socials or whatever they say. In the meantime, if you got a keen eye / are good at Googling you can still find first press copies of the CANAL IRREAL and BEEX floating around here and there.

In distro news, I'm sure it's the 69th time I've sworn off acquiring anything new BUT I just had to get some copies of the new new SCREAMING HUMAN SCUM 7" because it's a ripper made by a ripper. I've also added loads of titles to the 12" and 7" budget bins and marked down some older B.I.R. titles in the name of making way for a metric shit ton of new releases in the coming months. Peep the Big Cartel for more info on all of this.

I think that about does it. Here's what's next on the agenda, definitely (hopefully lol) looking like the first two will be out before the year's end and I reckon we shall see regarding the others:

SOCIO LA DIFEKTA - KRESKI EP
GENTLEMAN JESSE - LOSE EVERYTHING LP
MERCENARY - DISCOGRAPHY 12"
PEACE DECAY 12"
GRAVEN IMAGE - DISCOGRAPHY 12"
RED CROSS - NO MESSAGE: 1981-1982 12" (no, not that RED CROSS, this is pre WHITE CROSS)
WHITE CROSS - DISCOGRAPHY 2x12"

+ some other assorted bangers TBA

Much love! Please keep staying safe and making informed and intelligent decisions for the sake of those in our respective communities that depend on us to do so.

6/25/21 - NEW RELEASES from CANAL IRREAL, PSICO GALERA and BEEX OUT NOW!!

Well it's been a minute but I'm rather pleased to let y'all know that there are three new Beach Impediment releases officially out as of today! Thanks to all who preordered a few weeks back, there's still a few copies left of both the PSICO GALERA and BEEX 12"s on color for those who dig such things. We also recently repressed the LAFFING GAS 12" one more time - 150 copies on blue vinyl so snag it while ya can if you've been sleeping on it. Here's the usual spiel:

PSICO GALERA - LE STANZE DELLA MENTE 12"

Flailing hardcore punk from Italy filled with lightning fast riffing, locomotive propulsion, all topped with tormented and blown out Nerorgasm(o)-ic vocals. Lying somewhere between a notion of what Wretched would have been trying to do on their second LP and what the lost secretly groove-laden EPs of early 80s Japan a la Bitousha were able to pull together, Psico Galera have made a very new splatter on an old canvas. Over the top guitar leads, slippery tempo shifts, and hints of melody amongst the tuneless torment allow this to hang together as a singular blast of modern punk.

100 copies on YELLOW AND BLACK MARBLED VINYL for mailorder while they last! Still some leftover from preorder at the moment...

Europeans - please order this title from Static Age Musik who pressed it over in your neck of the woods!

CANAL IRREAL - S/T 12"

The Beach Impediment Label is proud to present the debut release from Canal Irreal. This 12" brandishes 9 tracks of absolutely driving hardcore punk rock with the unmistakable bullhorn vocals of Martin Sorrondeguy, steering this careening blur in and out of tightly written musical corners. Featuring members of Sin Orden as well, there is a lot of Chicago punk rock DNA in here manifesting itself as aggression draped in burning, melancholic guitar leads and an unpredictable hazy melodic wash. Like Greg Sage ghost writing a Naked Raygun track while vacationing in Southern California! Recorded by guitarist Scott Plant and mastered by Jonah Falco, each record comes in a UV Gloss jacket adorned with art by Martin.

150 copies on PURPLE VINYL are SOLD OUT (had a bunch damaged in transit too, long story) - still plenty on black though!

BEEX - THE EARLY YEARS: 1979-1982 12"

In August of 1978, the young and burgeoning scene of Richmond, VA was rocked to it's very core by the untimely and tragic death of Ralph Harper - the frontman for one of the area's earliest punk bands known as RICKY AND THE WHITE BOYS. The city mourned the loss of their 23 year old comrade. Once the grief had subsided enough, Ricky along with a couple of the other members of the White Boys ultimately decided to form a new outfit to pick up where they'd left off. After a slew of auditions with hopeful candidates, they found their new band leader in the form of a Jersey transplant named Christine Gibson who's voice and personality were like none other they'd ever encountered. Earning their band name (which was in honor of the prominent beaks of the majority of the band) via the popular vote of the crowd at their first live gig in December of that same year, what followed was a blur of gigs throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and the creation of catchy and timeless punk songs that went hand in hand with Gibson's inability to even remotely suffer anyone's bullshit - be it from a smart ass in the crowd or within the ranks of her own band. While the latter would lead to some lineup changes in these formative years, little did all involved know that it was the beginning of a rock and roll odyssey that carries on to this very day. This record compiles the band's first couple studio sessions that yielded a pair of classic early American punk singles: 1979's " (My Heart Goes) Beat Beat b/w He Obliterates Me" on Wasp Records and 1982's "Butch b/w Empty House" on the great Zero Degree Records along with unreleased tracks from each session that have been lovingly remixed and remastered by Chris Corry. Each record comes in a stunning gatefold jacket featuring never before seen photographs, flyers and other imagery from four decades ago along with liner notes by founding guitarist Richard "Ricky" Buchanan, all of which give those who are curious a glimpse into the formative years of the mighty BEEX.

100 copies on PINK VINYL with exclusive poster for mailorder while they last! Still some leftover from preorder at the moment...

We've also added an option on the Big Cartel for those that slept on the L'AMOUR 12" to get it with this BEEX 12" at an extremely discounted rate, so jump on that if you're feeling wild!

As always, you can buy these releases at the Beach Impediment Records Big Cartel. In addition to buying them at the Beach Impediment Records Bandcamp you can also stream these releases there as well.

While the distro is slowly being phased out, I've wrangled a few recent items that might tickle some fancies:

HAKUCHI - BEST WORKS 1991-1994 12"
KALASHNIKOV - S/T EP (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, CLASSIC!)
JUNTA - DOD TID EP
WARCHILD - NO VICTORY IN DEATH EP

+ loads of other stuff that's in the midst of being marked down. GET IT WHILE THE GETTIN'S GOOD, BOSS.

Thanks again for all the preorders thus far / orders that will roll in today! The plan is to start shipping these out at the beginning of next week. Your patience is appreciated in advance! In other news, here's what will hopefully be out by the end of summer:

MUJERES PODRIDAS - MUERTE EN PARAISO 12"
SOCIO LA DIFEKTA 7"
Represses of the PUBLIC ACID 7", the CONDOR 12" and some other fun stuff :)

followed by some titles I'll announce next time that will HOPEFULLY see the light of day before the year is out. With that said, record pressing plant turn arounds are starting to look pretty grim so we shall see. That aside, hope all is well for you and yours - thanks for reading and take care!

1/15/21 - THE CHISEL - COME SEE ME / NOT THE ONLY ONE EP OUT NOW!!

Hey there folks,

Kicking off 2021 with North American pressing of this absolute shit kicker of a single, compliments of London's own THE CHISEL! Let's not waste another second and get right down to it:

"Chisel this, Chisel that" -- it's on my phone, it's on my hard drives, it's on my turntable, it's on my t-shirt, it's on my instagram, it's on my blogspot, it's tattooed on my forehead, my own parents renewed their wedding vows to "Rat Runnin Scared." I pressed stop. I unplugged my headphones, turned down the volume, and snapped that god forsaken single in HALF. Enough was enough! But see me, yeah. Once the music stopped only one thought rang through my head: What Have I Done? Where once there was explosive energy there was now a void. Lucky for me, the 5 loveable lads from Blackpool, Croydon, Acton, Chingford, and Guildford KEPT IT MOVIN, and just when I thought all was lost they brought me back in. Three more blasts of full fat extra saturated deep fried limb swinging confrontational uplifting chisel chiselling punk for that special space in your life. Enough said? No. Cos they've done it again."

-Jonah Falco, 2020

There are 150 copies on red vinyl for mailorder. 99% of them were sold via Bandcamp preorder last month BUT I have a few extra that will be up in the Big Cartel while they last!

You can purchase it here and stream it here.

Available in the UK / EU from La Vida Es Un Mus.
Available in Japan from Blackhole.

So the plan was to have the repress of the PUBLIC ACID - CONDEMNATION EP ready alongside this buuuuuut as the saying goes when man makes plans Dog laughs, or something... long story short the center labels took twice as long as they usually take and then FedEx lost said center labels in the post holiday shipping vortex, hence delaying said repress til the plant does their next cycle of 7" pressing. With that said, if you preordered through Bandcamp fret not - I will get your records out as soon as humanly possible! Hoping to scoop these from the plant mid-late February, stay tuned!

Distro update: snag that MISANTHROPIC MINDS 7" while ya can!!! Absolute ripper! Beyond that, should have some MIRROR 7"s (members of IMPALERS, VAASKA, etc) in the coming days, keep your eyes peeled for those!

That about does it for now! Here's a look at what's next on the Beach Impediment Label...

PSICO GALERA 12"
MUJERES PODRIDAS 12"
CANAL IRREAL 12"
LONG KNIFE 12"
BEEX Early singles 12"
WHITE CROSS Discography 2x12"

+ loads more in the works

Hope you're all continuing to say safe,
-B.I.R.

11/24/20 - NEW RELEASES from PUBLIC ACID and MOMENT OF FEAR OUT NOW!!

Hey gang,

Here we have it, the last offerings from the Beach Impediment Label for the year 2020. What a journey it's been and who knows just what the hell is in store for the last month and some change of it. Now normally I'd feel kinda weird dropping releases a couple days before that stupid ass holiday at the end of November, but with everything the way it's been let's just shun tradtion go for it! Not to mention that if you're traveling willy-nilly for the aforementioned stupid ass holiday to share enclosed close quarters with others during a pandemic you're just kind of a piece of shit anyways and I hope you miss the email. All that science and reality talk aside, year nine of the label has been rather fulfilling and these last two slabs also bring us to a grand total of 50 entries thus far. Here's hoping for 69 (that's 19 more) before it's all said and done - anyways much to come in 2021 AKA year 10 of this circus. Keep your eyes, ears, etc peeled starting in January but as for the here and now... "let's rock."

PUBLIC ACID - CONDEMNATION EP

"Woo-wee! Public Acid, folks - the undisputed pride of North Carolina! Or is it Virginia now? A bit of both perhaps?! Ah hell, is acknowledging geographic location really even relevant when it comes to top shelf hardcore punk? The dead fucks that made those borders and boundaries wouldn't know shit about riffs anyway. In the couple years since their self released 12" came into being, the band has gigged all over the country (back when that was an option) and expanded their catalog further via a flexi and some cassettes, garnering much deserved attention and adoration from those fortunate enough to be enlightened with those scenarios and/or physical formats. But that was the old world and what matters here and now is that the "CONDEMNATION" EP is 6 urgent blasts of punk music that result in a sonic whirlwind that few others have previously concocted. In a genre that has become dominated by embarrassing posturing, this slab is a much welcomed breath of fresh air in an age of suffocating and uncertainty. Recorded and mastered at Artifact Audio in NYC by Sasha Stroud just before the shit hit the fan, each record comes in a folded sleeve both designed and screen printed by Public Acid collaborator and comrade Thomas Sara."

There are 100 copies on TRANSLUCENT PINK vinyl for mailorder while they last.

MOMENT OF FEAR - COVID SESSIONS 2020 EP

"From the ashes of a pandemic stricken Long Beach, CA comes MOMENT OF FEAR! Long time PDX based screamer extraordinaire INSANE AKA Tony Bartek (of RELIGIOUS WAR, THE CORPSE, ROTTEN CADAVER and loads of others) has returned to his ancestral homeland to churn out more of that ace hardcore punk he's become known for over the past few decades. Mastered by Jack Control and featuring cover art by Todd Janeczek, the 3 tracks on the "COVID SESSIONS 2020 EP" are a barrage of hardcore racket that will please the ears of absolute maniacs and purists alike."

There are 100 copies on TRANSLUCENT RED vinyl for mailorder while they last.

As always, you can purchase these titles directly here or here, with that second option also offering the ability to stream and download these titles plus many more!

In repress news, both the DAME - S/T 12" and MURO - PACIFICAR 12" are back in print! DAME is a 2nd press of 200 copies, all of which are on what has been described as a "sexy red" vinyl. The 2nd press copies of MURO are limited to 300 and come in a sharp black dust sleeve this go around. We meant to have these ready last time around buuuuut Covid delayed shit.

As for the webstore, we got some hot updates which are probably the last of the distro items due to my desire to move away from dealing with a distro. With that said, the MARKED DOWN 7"s and MARKED DOWN 12"s are CHOCK FULL of all kindsa stuff so give em a glance! Anyways, here are some distro additions of note:

ROCKY & THE SWEDEN - CITY BABY ATTACKED BY BUDS LP
HAIRCUT - CAKE EP
EXPLOATOR - AVGRUNDENS BRANT LP (3/4 of TOTALITAR, highly recommended!)
THE CHISEL - DECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY EP
FETISH - WORLD EATER LP
STRAY BULLET - S/T EP
TOTALITAR - HEYDAYS REVISITED EP

+ loads and loads and heaps more!

Right then, that about does it!

UP NEXT:

THE CHISEL new 7"
PSICO GALERA LP
WHITE CROSS Discography 2 x 12"

+ some other shit in the works, both new and old.

Okay now,

7/28/20 - New releases from DAME and LONG KNIFE OUT NOW!!

Greetings friends,

I hope you're all staying safe in this strange new world we find ourselves in, dominated by a global pandemic with no signs of slowing and a powder keg of police violence coming to a head with protest and resistance, the likes of which we haven't seen for many decades in my country and many others. It feels much longer than the 4 months that have passed since the last time I sent one of these out. At any rate, I hope you are all well and are doing what you can to strengthen your communities in these trying times. Speaking of which, a huge thank you to all who participated in the silent auction of B.I.R. test presses I did a couple months back. I was able to funnel around $2,200 into local groups here in Richmond, VA that are helping in light of the aforementioned crises we are facing. With this in mind, for the next week and a half the total of each band's downloads of their respective new releases will be going to local causes that mean a lot to them and require help with the current nightmare reality we find ourselves in. I will detail that below in a second. Continued solidarity with all risking their well being in the name of progress and the eradication of antiquated and inherently violent thought has steered our country since its inception. Thanks for reading... now onto the real reason you're here:

DAME - S/T 12"

"At long last, as a follow up to the 7" on the band's own Charm School label a few years back, we are granted the debut 12" by Boston's DAME. Though currently spread out geographically, the quintet were able to capture these modern classic tracks of post punk / gothic brilliance at Side Two Studios before the world turned upside down on us all. Equal parts melancholic and haunting, these seven tracks permeate the deepest corners of your psyche, refusing to vacate for quite some time. Each record comes in a full color jacket along with a fold out 24" x 24" poster insert, both of which feature art by guitarist Anna Cataldo."

There are 100 copies on BLUE VINYL for mailorder while they last.

***Also, from now until Friday 8/7/20, all money from the downloads of this record will be going to the F2L Relief Fund per the request of the band. You can find more information on this organization here.***

LONG KNIFE - NIGHT OF THE HUNTER b/w ROUGH LIVER 7"

Well shit, PDX's 21st century Kings of Punk have graced us with yet another slab of the hardcore punk perfection that they've been crafting for quite some time now! The world we live in has changed considerably since 2017's "Sewers of Babylon" EP and that is reflected in these two songs that serve as a precursor to the band's forthcoming and long awaited full length. While keeping to the tried and true hardcore punk formula that has served as a sonic vessel for numerous trips around the circuit there are some far more rocking elements in the mix this go around which is just a taste of what is to come. Each record comes in a full color glue pocket sleeve featuring a rather arousing back cover.

There are 100 copies on CLEAR BLUE VINYL for mailorder while they last.

***Also, from now until Friday 8/7/20, all money from the downloads of this record will be going to Don't Shoot PDX per the request of the band. You can find more information on this organization here.***

As always, you can purchase physical copies of these records here and download them from here.

Peep the webstore for some new items that are currently in there AND others on the way that have been insanely delayed due to the pandemic. Haven't been doing too much distro acquisition because there are others who do it better honestly - SHOUT OUT TO SORRY STATE AND FEEL IT (among others)!

Obviously, no touring band news to report. Check back in like 2-3 years for that I'd say. Wear a fucking mask.

UP NEXT:

PUBLIC ACID 7"
MOMENT OF FEAR 7" (ex RELIGIOUS WAR)
WHITE CROSS Discography

+ loads more in the works.

Stay safe, y'all!

-B.I.R.
