10/20/26 - PUBLIC ACID - PAY NO MORE EP and INVERTEBRATES - ACCOSTED EP OUT NOW!!

Howdy folks! I got a couple LONG AWAITED platters that are finally ready for you, the hardcore punk faithful, to enjoy. If you had the good fortune of not only catching these stellar groups on their OPERATION HARDCORE tour across this shit hole of a country back in July in August and were lucky enough to snag a copy of the split we made 400 copies of for said tour, then you've (presumably) had the pleasure of already hearing these recordings! Congrats! And now, they are FINALLY available on their intended format - the 7" record! No Discogs horror prices needed anymore partners, we got the goods!! Let's get right to it:

PUBLIC ACID - PAY NO MORE EP

Expecting only subservience in exchange for perpetual toiling in a rapidly decaying world, at what point do we decide to PAY NO MORE?

Arriving as a violent resurgence following 2024's DEADLY STRUGGLE, Public Acid’s new EP fully sends six doses of seething yet expertly executed extreme music.  PAY NO MORE reveals the band exercising a deeper exploration of their terrifying twin guitar metallic torment, while still retaining the thoroughly pummeling brutality of hardcore punk. Owing as much influence to a pack of pimple-faced Raleigh teenagers circa 1982 as they do to the crushing sounds of Scandinavian jawbreakers and Japanese winds of pain, PUBLIC ACID continue to corrupt and cultivate the perfection of their sonic havoc yet again as they approach a decade of existence -- a rare feat in this world.  WE WILL PAY NO MORE.

Each record comes in a Discharge style pocket sleeve featuring cover art by longtime visual collaborator Thomas Sara, along with additional layout design and fold out insert by the band's own Matt Martin.

There are 150 copies on CAROLINA BLUE VINYL while they last!

INVERTEBRATES - ACCOSTED EP

"Invertebrates are without a doubt one of the best hardcore punk bands of our time.  Dare I say ever? Bringing together all the best ingredients from across the punk spectrum - 80s hardcore mixed with UK street punk mixed with classic 77 punk - they bring it all together with an original sound that is all their own. Picking up where their LP left off, this new 7” ep is perfect! This is the best explosive energetic hardcore. Blistering fast, sharp and to the point with fast changes and accents that punch. These 7 new songs are relentless with adrenaline and catchy hooks. For the rest of time I will look back of the mid-2020s and think of Invertebrates as marking the best of the Richmond scene.  I’m so fucking glad to be able to see some of the most epic Invertebrates shows and I’m stoked to be able to appreciate the magic of now. These dudes are putting Richmond on the map and it’s a great time to be. I love this band!  I love these people!  And I LOVE this new record!  Do NOT miss out on this band!"

-Chris Boarts Larson

Each record comes in a glue pocket sleeve with killer fold out insert; both of which were designed by Inverts crooner Max Mattoon and also feature a bad ass band photo on the back cover, compliments of the above legendary punk photographer Chris Boarts Larson.

There are 150 copies on YELLOW VINYL for mailorder while they last!

As always, you may snag em here and snag / stream / download here.

And it is worth noting if you have somehow snoozed on obtaining copies of the PUBLIC ACID - DEADLY STRUGGLE 12" and/or the INVERTEBRATES - SICK TO SURVIVE 12", copies of both are dwindling with repress details looking murky at the moment. Snag while ya can or don't!

Not much else to report on this end! SEXPILL will be touring Japan in a matter of weeks! You can check out their tour dates here. Also, SIKM will be touring EU in a matter of weeks! You can check out their tour dates here.

Expect one more lil drop this year with the following:

SIKM - FIRE ON COMMAND LP (Drunken Sailor will be handling EU/UK pressing of this)
WHITE CROSS - WHAT's GOING ON? LP reissue
OUTSIDER - RETRO LP (now available in Japan on CD from Break the Records)

+ maybe some other goodies that may or may not come together in time? Either way, 2027 is looking busy!

Be well!
